Happy Spring! To welcome in the new season, here are some of the best springtime recipes using asparagus, snap peas, brussels sprouts, avocado, plus something for Easter and Passover!
It’s sort of funny how excited Californians get over spring, considering how mild our winters are. But still. And for everyone in the Midwest and back East, it’s a sign of warmer weather coming.
We’ve had a good dose of rain the last couple of weeks (OF COURSE…because it’s baseball season. God forbid we actually experience Opening Day without some type of hiccup.) We need it, though. Always always in need of rain. So, we’ll gladly take the inconvenience. Plus it makes everything so pretty! Our neighbors in back of us have a huge peach tree; it’s in full bloom and so awesome now! And that’s how I know it’s game on.
This is also when I start craving (more than usual) my favorite green vegetables and some of my favorite recipes that get buried during the winter months.
The following recipes are only a snippet, but definitely worth highlighting. Make sure you use the search bar on the website to find other spring recipes using what’s in season right now!
