This lemonade fruit dip was inspired by my 3-ingredient fruit dip, a recipe that I’ve made many times over. It combines cream cheese, heavy whipping cream, and powdered sugar with lemon juice and zest to create a dip that truly tastes like lemonade. But it still only takes 5 minutes to make! I love serving this with a fruit tray during the summer. It’s such a quick and easy treat to enjoy poolside or to bring to gatherings.
Helpful Tips
- Use softened cream cheese. This makes it easier to blend and ensures the dip is smooth and fluffy, without chunks of cream cheese throughout.
- Keep the heavy cream cold. I recommend keeping the heavy whipping cream in the fridge until you’re ready to use it. Warm heavy whipping cream does not whip into stiff peaks, which helps to add the light, airy texture to this dip.
- Use fresh lemon. Fresh lemon juice (and zest) is key to getting the lemonade flavor in this fruit dip. Bottled lemon juice doesn’t have the same flavor, so I recommend not using it here.
- Make ahead. I recommend making this lemonade fruit dip at least an hour in advance. It gives the flavors time to meld and lets the heavy whipping cream chill a bit.

What To Serve With Lemonade Fruit Dip
Serve lemonade fruit dip with fresh fruit, of course! I love to spoon it into a dessert cup, then surround it with a variety of fruit slices on a platter to make it more visually appealing. Pretty much any fruit will work, but my personal favorites are strawberries, pineapple, and green grapes. Apple slices are also a great option. Pretzels and vanilla wafers can also be served with this dip.
Proper Storage
Keep lemonade fruit dip in an airtight container in the fridge (or covered tightly with plastic). It’s best enjoyed within 3 days.
