This Dill Pickle Dip is the absolute best cold dip where dill pickles are the star! Great appetizer for game day, parties, or as a spread for burgers! Whip up a batch in 10 minutes.

We’re big subscribers to dill pickled food – dill pickle potato chips, dill pickle cashews, dill yogurt, dill flavored cream cheese…and of course, dill pickles in their natural form – we all eat them like they’re candy. My husband even drinks the juice once the last pickle is gone.
Add this Dill Pickle Dip to our obsession!

How to Make Dill Pickle Dip
It’s so easy to make this dip. You simply place all the ingredients in a bowl and mash or stir to combine until it’s smooth. Ideally, you’ll cover and chill in the fridge for at least an hour (then bring to room temp) before serving, to allow the flavors to mingle.
Suggested dippers: I always serve this dip with pretzel rods (that are broken in thirds), and fresh veggie sticks, like carrots and celery. But sturdy potato chips or any cracker works great, too.
Storing Leftovers
Dip should be stored, tightly covered in the refrigerator. It is best eaten within 2 days and will loosen as the days go by, but will keep up to 4.

Dill pickle fans, it’s worth mentioning that you might want to double the recipe. It’ll be the first to go at parties!

I’ve made this several times and it has always been a hit.
I’ve made this twice now and I’m making now for a third time. So easy, fast and delishes! Thank you so much for sharing!
A huge hit at our football Sunday! Everyone loved it. I might omit or reduce the salt next time. When served with potato chips it was a little on the salty side. But still delicious! Will definitely make again.
This is a hit!! I added 1/2 cup natural yogurt to make it thinner.
I love this.
My new favorite dip
So easy to make.
Served this over the weekend for a BBQ and it was gone in seconds!
I was in a pinch to bring an appetizer for a family party. I thought this dip sounded strange but I was able to throw it together very quickly. I kid you not – it was scarfed up and gone in about 10 minutes. Everyone loved it and asked for the recipe. A definite keeper!
I really like your dill dip recipe. I make one also a bit different. Mine has no cream cheese. I use sour cream 2 parts, 1part mayo, chopped fine dill pickle, dill weed and onion salt to taste. Mix well.
Spread on a tortilla, cover with deli sliced ham, roll up and cut into pinwheels… yowza. ;)
This was an awesome recipe! I had others asking for the recipe. I had added about 1/2 cup sour cream to this recipe and it turned out great!
My sister in law made this and I am obsessed! Can I use fresh dill instead of dried?
Looks amazing going try it for
Wow! This looks amazing, you always have the best pickle recipes. Going to make this for my graduation party this weekend. Thanks for sharing!
Made this dip for my dill pickle loving grandsons!!! Needless to say they LOVED it!! Was also a high with the adults as well!! My oldest son says it’s the BEST dip he’s ever had!! So I guess this will be a usual dip for family occasions!!! The very best and so easy to make!!
We love this pickle dip & so does everyone that tries it.
Haven’t made yet, but am going to get right on it. I love Dill Pickles, I took some with me, to work with me everyday for the 33 years I worked. Always kept Dill Pickle juice on hand for Body Cramps, mostly those Darn Legs Cramps, even had my 2 daughters save their juice for me. Even Introduced to my Granddaughter & 3 Grandsons who were playing Softballl, Football & Baseball to drinking the juice for Cramps. Remember one Grandsons team thought he was crazy bringing a jar of it to practice, until some of them tried it, and yep, they started bringing a jar also !!!!!!
Instead of chopping dill pickles I use dill pickle relish. Makes it one less step.
I tried your Dill Pickle Dip! Wow, that is some seriously good dip! My daughter & I love dill pickles so she also tried it and she said she’s not leaving without that recipe! I always try something new every year for Christmas and that dip is the best of all time, so thank you for that recipe!! Yum!!!
This sounds and looks delicious! I’ve been wanting to try my hand at making a dill pickle dip for game day and this is going to be the one! Thank you for this recipe!
Pickle juice us perfect for reducing a hang over …I love all pickles but Jewish are my favorite. ..
Just found this dip recipe and I have to tell you it is SO FANTSTIC ! I don’t want to share it – made it with just the cream cheese, pickles and liquid and garlic salt – and it is SO good !
Thank you thank you thank you !
Pickle juice is perfect for. Hangover
I add horseradish and mayo to mine and use food processor to grind up pickles!! Homemade horseradish
this dip was delicious! we ate it with pretzels, but also on our salmon and potato pancakes!
All I had was a tub of cream cheese spread this time…..so I used it…..it was so much more soft and dippy! Loved it!
Looks really delish!
My husband and I are not straight pickle fans at all- but we LOVE Philly Dill Pickle Dip! It’s so expensive though. This comes REALLY close to that! We made it as-is the first time around, but next time we’ll use half the amount of pickles and chop them super fine. Otherwise- it tastes amazing!! Definitely on the keeper list!
Dill pickle juice…slurp! Yes I am a dill pickle fan, I even have dill pickle salt that I put on popcorn, boiled eggs, etc. Totally pinning this and will definitely double the recipe when I make it! BTW, traveled here via Foodgawker.
Just reading your comments sent me running to the fridge for pickles for breakfast! (Then my son – who I call Pickle because he’s my favorite thing, too, insisted on the same! LOL!) I may be making this tonight!
I love pickles… and dill… and dip. I’m in love!
I’m pretty much a pickle equal opportunist…dill, sweet, I love em all! I may or may not also drink pickle juice (especially when marathon training…all that salt!!). Definitely need this. And a good bagel to smear it on.
omg.
I could eat an entire bucket of this! With pita chips? *DIES*
That’s right! After trying this dip, I might just convert back to eating dill pickles again. It was deelish!
This is like eating a pickle topped with rainbows and the laughter of babies. And I totally drank the rest of the pickle juice after Amy put the pickles in this.
I drink the pickle juice too Paul! I also save it for potato salad, and freeze it and make pickle juice ice….ok I’m lying about the last one, but the first two are totally true.
Let me tell you, I’m a pickle juice person, too. But my husband is the biggest pickle juice fan of all. In fact, he likes it so much that my mom made him a special “cocktail” for him to drink at our wedding table. It was a concoction of pickle juice and black and green olive juices. It looked so nasty, but he drank it up and wanted more!
Huge dill pickle fan here!!!
I am SO putting this on a giant hot dog!!
I love this dip! I made it over the weekend. So good! I want my husband to make burgers just so I can put some of this on them!
I was going to post this on my blog and then I saw that you were going to post it, so I figured I’d wait and post it next week, cause that’s what we blogger sistas do! I love that we have the kind of friendship amongst our little group that we can all make the same recipe and share it without any grips or bad feelings. I think that’s a rare thing in the blogger community.
You totally could have posted it! Honestly. But no doubt, you were thoughtful to wait. It’s interesting…I’m always thrilled when other bloggers make (and post) my stuff. It’s the highest compliment. I think Rebecca would have been thrilled if we both posted it at the same time :D
TOTALLY THRILLED that everyone loves it enough to want to post it. Can we have a pickle club? CAN WE? Please???? You all know how many jars of pickles I put up every summer, right?
I’m in!
Paul and John must be related. I swear John has pickle juice running though his veins….Might even throw it together for him, this weekend. Something to help take his mind off of doing taxes…LOL
We’re prepping our taxes, too. Definitely not fun like eating dip :(
