Remember 2 weeks ago when I said I wasn’t ready to let go of summer yet? Well, I’m ready. I keep seeing a ton of soup recipes I want to try. But who wants to make soup when it’s 110 degrees outside? Unless it’s Gazpacho, of course.
So I’m willing fall to begin with apples…and cream. Who’s with me? These apple pie parfaits are so easy, light, and delicious, using simple ingredients. They would make a wonderful end to a meal.

What’s in This Apple Pie Parfait Recipe?
This apple parfait recipe calls for just a handful of simple items, most of which you probably already have on hand. (Scroll below to the printable recipe card for details and measurements.)
- Apples – Our star ingredient! They should be peeled, cored, and diced very small. Any type of apple works, so pick your favorite.
- Butter – Used to pan fry the apples. Either regular salted butter or unsalted butter. If using salted butter, you can omit the extra added salt.
- Brown sugar and Cinnamon – These are added to the apples as they cook, adding sweetness, a warm flavor, and caramelization.
- Pinch of salt – To balance out the sweetness.
- Heavy whipped cream, Powdered sugar, and Vanilla – Blended together until still peaks form for the creamy layer in the parfaits.
- Vanilla – For added flavor.
- Garnish – Crumbled pie crust or honey graham crackers finish off the parfaits.
Serving Suggestions
These parfaits would make the perfect sweet end to a meal like pork chops, pork medallions, or roast chicken.
Proper Storage
Apple pie parfaits should be kept refrigerated until ready to serve. They can be made up to 1 day in advance, but the longer they sit, the whipped cream will start to loosen.
