Quick and Easy Chicken Caesar Wrap

What’s better than a Caesar salad? When you combine it with chopped crispy chicken and stuff it in a lightly toasted tortilla! This Chicken Caesar Salad Wrap is the chicken wrap recipe you didn’t know you needed. But you do, and you will thank me for it, I promise.

By grabbing one of those Caesar chopped salad kits in the produce section and air frying some frozen crispy chicken strips, these chicken wraps are so quick and easy, yet so delicious and satisfying. They’re on constant repeat at my house for a speedy and effortless lunch or dinner.

Ingredients Needed

You only need 3 items to make these chicken wraps.
(Scroll below to the printable recipe card for details and measurements.)

  • Caesar Salad Kit – You can find all kinds of salad kits at the grocery store now in the produce section. The Caesar Salad Kits come with crispy chopped Romaine, crouton crumbs, shredded Parmesan, and the Caesar dressing. Taylor Farms brand is my favorite, but any will do.
  • Crispy Chicken Strips – My freezer is never without crispy chicken strips. Simply air fry a couple strips in minutes and add them to all sorts of things for a quick and easy meal like crispy chicken sandwiches, Asian chicken salad, and these chicken wraps. Foster Farms, Tyson, and Perdue all work great, just make sure to use crispy chicken strips and not chicken nuggets.
  • Flour Tortillas – You’ll need large 10-inch flour tortillas for these chicken wraps, since we’re rolling them up like a burrito.
  • Olive oil (optional) – A little bit of olive oil in the fry pan to lightly toast the tortillas.

How to Make Chicken Caesar Wraps

These chicken wraps are so simple to make in just 10 to 15 minutes, but really deliver on taste and are quite hearty and filling.
(Scroll below to the printable recipe card for details and measurements.)

  1. Air fry and chop the chicken strips. Air fry the chicken strips according to the package directions. Remove and allow to cool slightly, then chop up into very small pieces.
  2. Make the chopped salad. Empty all the contents of the Caesar salad kit into a large mixing bowl. Add in the chopped chicken and gently toss so everything gets evenly coated.
  3. Build the wraps. Divide the mixture between three large flour tortillas near the bottom of the tortilla, then roll up like a burrito.
  4. Toast the wraps. Warm up just a touch of olive oil in large nonstick skillet over medium heat, swirl to coat. Place wrap seam-side down and cook until golden brown on both sides.
  5. Serve. Slice the wraps in half on a slight diagonal and enjoy!

Tips and Variations

  • Add some cooked crumbled bacon. If you like your Caesar salad with bacon, feel free to add some in.
  • Add more dressing. If you find the kit doesn’t include enough dressing to your liking, you can certainly add in a bit more. Our homemade Caesar salad dressing is fantastic or store bought works too, of course.
  • Try it with popcorn shrimp. I’ve made these a few times with popcorn shrimp instead of the crispy chicken and they’re just as delicious!
  • Don’t toast them. There’s no law that says these have to be toasted. If preferred, you can certainly wrap up the filling and enjoy.

Serving and Storage

As mentioned above, you can skip the toasting step if preferred. They’re still delicious without the exterior crunch.

These wraps are best served right away, but they will keep in the refrigerator up to 2 days. Make sure to wrap them tightly in foil. Enjoy cold or briefly toast again in a fry pan.
