Servings: 3large wraps (or 6 halves)
Ingredients
3largecrispy chicken strips(Foster Farms, Tyson, or Perdue all work)
11ouncebag Caesar Chopped Salad Kit(see note below)
3largeflour tortillas, warmed slightly
1tablespoonolive oil
Instructions
Air fry the chicken strips according to the package directions in your air fryer. Remove and allow to cool slightly, then chop up into very small pieces.
Place the chicken pieces, chopped lettuce, crouton crumbs, and shredded Parmesan into a large mixing bowl. Pour the dressing over the top and gently mix to coat evenly.
Divide the mixture between the tortillas near the bottom of the tortilla, then roll up like a burrito (fold the bottom of the tortilla over the mixture, pull the filling toward you, fold in the opposite sides, and roll snugly from the bottom up.)
Warm up the olive oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat, swirl to coat. Place wrap seam-side down and cook until golden brown, 45 to 60 seconds, then flip and do the same on the other side. Watch it carefully so it doesn't overbrown.
Slice in half and enjoy!
Notes
Chopped Caesar Salad Kit. This comes with chopped Romaine lettuce, Caesar dressing, crouton crumbs, and shredded Parmesan. I prefer the Taylor Farms brand, but any will work.)Add some cooked crumbled bacon. If you like your Caesar salad with bacon, feel free to add some in.Add more dressing. If you find the kit doesn't include enough dressing to your liking, you can certainly add in a bit more. Our homemade Caesar salad dressing is fantastic or store bought works too, of course.Try it with popcorn shrimp. I've made these a few times with popcorn shrimp instead of the crispy chicken and they're just as delicious!Skip toasting them. There's no law that says these have to be toasted. If preferred, you can certainly wrap up the filling and enjoy.
