Easy Baked Pears Recipe
Pears, in my opinion, are a very underrated fruit. They’re often overshadowed by other fall and winter fruits, like apples and oranges, despite the flavor being so perfect for fall. They’re pretty versatile too, whether you use them to make a classic pear crisp, throw them in a pear salad, or use them to make these irresistible baked pears.
These baked pears give classic baked apples a run for their money as one of my favorite easy fall desserts. They’re so simple to make and taste wonderful, gently spiced, topped with nuts, and sweetened with honey. Perfect for a family dessert or casual dinner party.

Gently warm the pears in the microwave until heated through.

Serving Suggestions
I love to serve these baked pears with the remaining honey mixture drizzled over them and a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an easy yet impressive dessert thatโs not too sweet or decadent. You could also top them with whipped cream or yogurt. If youโre entertaining and looking for drink ideas, they pair well with a cranberry Moscow mule and hot buttered rum.

I admit I didnโt make this recipe as written, it inspired me. I had one pear, one apple, one peach and one orange. I sliced the apple, pear and peach and squeezed the orange juice over it all. I made the topping with some chopped trail mix and oat meal, but used the recipe for the sweet syrup. Amy, this was the inspiration I needed to use up all this fruit! It was delicious as a โmakeshiftโ crumble! We served it warm with a bit of vanilla ice cream. Thank you for the inspiration!
