This Homemade Blue Cheese Dressing includes blue cheese crumbles, buttermilk, sour cream, and a few other ingredients. I love that it’s made in minutes and is wonderfully creamy, tangy, and perfect as a dip for chicken wings or vegetables, or drizzled over salad.

Homemade Blue Cheese Dressing Recipe

Once you make this homemade blue cheese dressing, you will never want to grab a bottle at the store again! This tastes just like the homemade dressing served at restaurants. It’s tangy, creamy, and full of that classic blue cheese flavor.

And like my homemade ranch dressing, this recipe comes together in just a few minutes with a handful of ingredients. It stores well in the fridge, which makes it perfect for serving in multiple ways throughout the week.

Serving Suggestions

There are so many ways to use this blue cheese dressing. My absolute favorite way is to make a simple wedge salad with crisp iceberg lettuce topped with this dressing, diced tomatoes, bacon, and more blue cheese crumbles.

You also can’t go wrong pairing it with crispy, saucy chicken wings for game day, or spooning it generously over hearty Buffalo chicken sloppy joes for a spicy, tangy twist. It’s equally delicious rolled up inside colorful pinwheels for an easy party snack, and it makes the perfect creamy dip to brighten up a big, fresh veggie tray.
