My Air Fryer Pineapple is going to knock your socks off! It’s sweet, juicy, and tastes just like it came off the grill. All it takes is 4 ingredients and 5 minutes of prep. I love making it in the summer when pineapple is in season, but canned works perfectly too, so I can enjoy it all year long.

5 STAR REVIEW
Air Fryer Pineapple
My family gets so excited when summer rolls around and our local market is overflowing with fresh pineapple. Pineapple is a wonderful tropical fruit that tastes so great cold or warm. This air fryer pineapple recipe has a caramelized coating from brown sugar and the best texture. It can be enjoyed as a quick and simple snack or serve it for dessert with a little ice cream or whipped cream!
Helpful Tips
Like any other air fryer recipe, here are a few things to keep in mind to ensure your air fried pineapple turns out with the best results.
- Cut fruit evenly. For even cooking, make sure your fruit is all cut to the same size.
- Preheat the air fryer. Just like an oven, it’s best to preheat your air fryer so it will be hot and ready.
- Air fry in batches. Make sure not to over-crowd your air fryer. Proper air circulation and space in between the food is critical for air fried food to cook evenly and turn out. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you might need to cook in batches.
- Air fry in a single layer. Place the pineapple slices in the basket one at a time, don’t dump. This will help avoid breaking them and also prevent excess liquid from dripping down below your basket and smoking.

What to Serve With Air Fryer Pineapple
Cooked pineapple can be enjoyed warm or cold, as a side dish or dessert. We absolutely love it with some vanilla ice cream or a dollop of homemade whipped cream. A drizzle of caramel sauce is amazing, too!

I just got an air fryer and this was the first recipe I tried using it. Loved it!! We don’t own a grill, so I am thrilled to be able to cook pineapple as if it tasted like it came off the grill…and also not heat up my kitchen in the summer time.
Love his recipe!!!!
