  2. Blend the cream cheese. Blend the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and salt until fluffy. Add the mashed strawberries and continue beating until incorporated. The mixture should be light and fluffy.

Ingredients 

  • 4 large fresh strawberries
  • 8 ounce brick cream cheese, , softened to room temperature
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon coarse salt

Instructions 

  • Wash and fully dry the strawberries, remove the stems, and give them a rough chop (you should end up with a 1/2 cup.) Transfer to a medium bowl and crush the chopped strawberries using a potato masher or fork.
  • In a separate bowl, using a handheld electric mixer, blend together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and salt until the cream cheese is fluffy. Scrape down the sides of the bowl.
  • Add in the mashed strawberries; continuing beating until incorporated, light, and fluffy.
  • Enjoy as desired.
