Homemade Caramel Frappuccino Recipe

I like my coffee with so many flavors and milk that you barely taste the coffee. HA. So basically dessert coffee. So naturally this Starbucks caramel frappuccino recipe is right up my alley.

I love recreating my favorite Starbucks recipes at home, like the Pink Drink, mocha frappuccino, gingerbread latte, lemon loaf, and cranberry bliss bars. And now I have this Starbucks caramel frappe to add to the list. Nothing like your favorite drinks and snacks without leaving the house and for less money!

What’s in This Starbucks Caramel Frappuccino Copycat?

This Starbucks copycat recipe is made with just 4 main ingredients. (Be sure to scroll below to the printable recipe card for details and measurements.)

  • Ice
  • Cold brewed coffee – You can use actual cold brew or simply chill black coffee.
  • Half-n-half – Adds an ultra creamy texture to the drink. You can also use whole milk or even almond or oat milk, though keep in mind that will change the flavor.
  • Caramel sauce – You can use my homemade caramel sauce recipe or just grab your favorite at the store.
  • Sweetened condensed milk – The secret ingredient to making the Starbucks frappe ultra creamy.
  • For serving – Whipped cream and additional caramel sauce.

Tips & Variations

  • Add some chocolate sauce. Replace some of the caramel sauce with chocolate sauce, or use both!
  • Try it with ice cream. Put a few dollops of chocolate ice cream or coffee ice cream in the glass before you pour the liquid in, or simply blend the ice cream in with everything else until smooth.
  • Make it lighter. Make a skinnier version using low-fat milk instead of half-n-half.
  • Halve the recipe. If you just need one drink, simply halve the ingredients.
