Chocolate chip cookies are such a classic! Sometimes, though, when that craving strikes I don’t necessarily want an entire batch of cookies. Enter this single serve chocolate chip cookie recipe – it makes two perfect chocolate chip cookies in the air fryer. There’s no mess, limited clean up, and they’re ready to enjoy in just minutes. Bonus, you don’t need to heat up your whole kitchen in the summer!

Helpful Tips

  • Measure everything very carefully. Single serve cookies are not very forgiving, so you can’t “measure with your heart” so to speak. Make sure you’re not using the whole egg, you don’t use extra vanilla or butter, etc. Follow the recipe EXACTLY.
  • Flatten the dough. After dividing the dough into two cookies, be sure to flatten it a bit so each one is about 1/4 inch thick. Because these cook so quickly in the air fryer, you don’t want a round ball of dough like you normally would. Flattening them a bit ensures they cook fully in the short amount of time.
  • Know your air fryer. Every air fryer is slightly different, so be aware that the cooking time may need to be adjusted slightly. I would check right at the 5-minute mark the first time you make these and adjust from there, if needed.
  • Use parchment paper. I highly recommend placing parchment paper in the air fryer. Otherwise, it will be hard to remove the cookies and the dough can drip down through the holes.

Very good and yummy recipe! I did a triple batch and did it with only 2 egg yolks and it turned out great! I baked them in the oven. They turned out being a little bit crunchy on the outside with a soft and fluffy inside! They disappeared very fast! Great recipe!

I love this. I needed to air fry mine for an extra minute. I had one and my husband had one. They turned out great and I love that I don’t have any leftovers to tempt me. LOL.
