I took my favorite store-bought Oreo cookies and my love for coffee and no bake treats and made this easy Oreo tiramisu! This grown-up dessert is luscious and creamy, but so simple to make. Layers of coffee-soaked Oreos and fluffy mascarpone cream get a little boost from coffee liqueur, making it just the right mix of playful and sophisticated. Perfect for anyone who loves Oreos and wants a crowd-pleasing dessert without the fuss.

Classic tiramisu is one of my all-time favorite desserts, but itโs fun to switch things up every once in a while. Iโm also a sucker for a layered, no-bake dessert, so using coffee-soaked Oreos instead of ladyfingers felt like the perfect twist. The result is creamy, chocolatey, and just as irresistible as the original. Itโs the kind of treat that always goes over well at potlucks or dinner parties.
Helpful Tips
- Donโt oversoak the Oreos. A quick dip on each side is all they need. If you soak them too long, the cookies will turn mushy and the layers wonโt hold together. You want the outsides wet but the centers still firm, so they soften just right while chilling.
- Use cold mascarpone and cream. Both should be straight from the fridge when you start mixing. Keeping them cold helps the cream whip up light, fluffy, and stable, so your layers hold their shape instead of turning runny.
- Chill thoroughly. Letting the dessert rest in the fridge for at least 5 hours, or overnight if you can, gives the flavors time to meld together. The Oreos soften into a cake-like texture, and the whole dessert sets up beautifully for easy slicing.
Easy Oreo Tiramisu

Ingredients
- 8 ounces mascarpone cheese, cold
- ยพ cup cold heavy whipping cream
- โ cup powdered sugar
- 1ยฝ cups strong brewed coffee, chilled
- ยผ cup Kahlรบa coffee-flavored liqueur, (for alcohol free, sub for more coffee)
- 32 regular Oreo cookies, plus a couple more for grinding and dusting
Instructions
- In a large bowl with an electric mixer, beat the mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, and powdered sugar until light and fluffy. (Donโt overbeatโthe mixture should be soft and light with volume, but not clumpy.)
- In a separate shallow dish, combine the coffee and Kahlรบa.
- Prep half of the Oreos by briefly dipping them into the coffee mixture on both sides quickly, making sure the outsides get wet, but the inside stays hard. (Donโt soak them or they'll get soggy and ruin the dessert.)
- Arrange the wet Oreos in the bottom of a 2-quart (8×8) serving dish. Evenly spread half of the whipped cream on top of the Oreos.
- Repeat layers one more time with the remaining Oreos, coffee, and whipped cream.
- Refrigerate for at least 5 hours (or overnight).
- Right before serving, pulverise a couple Oreo cookies in a blender or spice grinder and sift over the top of the Tiramisu.
- Cut into square portions and enjoy!

How to Make Easy Oreo Tiramisu Step by Step

Gather all the ingredients together.

Make the cream filling: In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to beat 8 oz. of cold mascarpone cheese, ยพ cup of cold heavy whipping cream, and โ cup of powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Be careful not to overbeat. The mixture should be soft and airy, not clumpy.

Prepare the coffee mixture: In a shallow dish, combine 1ยฝ cups of chilled, strong-brewed coffee with ยผ cup of Kahlรบa coffee liqueur and stir to blend.

Dip the Oreos: Working with about half of the cookies, quickly dip 16 Oreo cookies into the coffee mixture, coating both sides just enough so the outsides are wet while the insides stay firm.

Assemble the first layer: Arrange the dipped Oreos in the bottom of a 2-quart (8×8) casserole dish. Spread half of the mascarpone cream mixture evenly on top.

Assemble the second layer: Repeat with the remaining 16 Oreos, dipping them in the coffee mixture and arranging them in a layer. Spread the rest of the cream mixture evenly over the cookies.

Chill the dessert: Cover and refrigerate for at least 5 hours, or overnight, to let the flavors meld and the dessert set properly.

Add the topping and serve: Just before serving, crush 2โ3 extra Oreos in a blender or spice grinder and sift the crumbs over the top. Slice into squares and enjoy.

Serving Suggestions
This Oreo tiramisu is the kind of dessert that shines at the end of any meal. Serve it after a cozy Italian dinner like baked ziti for a full restaurant-style experience at home. Itโs one of my favorite desserts to add to a spread with other no-bake treats like chocolate no-bake cookies and no-bake coconut cream lush dessert. However you serve it, the layers of coffee-soaked Oreos and creamy mascarpone will always be the star of the table.
How to Store Leftovers
- Fridge. Store any leftover Oreo tiramisu covered tightly with plastic wrap or in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. The cookies will continue to soften the longer it sits, so for the best texture and flavor, enjoy within the first 2 days.
- Freezer. To freeze Oreo tiramisu, assemble the dessert in a freezer-safe dish and wrap it tightly in a double layer of plastic wrap, followed by a layer of aluminum foil. Freeze for up to 2 months. When ready to enjoy, transfer the tiramisu to the refrigerator and let it thaw overnight.
