Can something else be used instead of german chocolate ?
Just use your favorite chocolate.
Is the nut butter essential to hold it together? I have 2 in my family with nut allergies. Not sure what to substitute. I would love to make this
Hi Kristin! Did you see I listed sunflower butter as an alternative? I make it with that all the time – we love the flavor. Since it’s a seed and not a nut, is that an option for you?
These were absolutely amazing.
I actually wanted to know if you could sub cookie butter, instead of almond butter
Yes, cookie butter would be even more amazing!
YUM! My girls helped make these – so easy. We didn’t want to stop eating them.
They look amazing! I love that you subbed other nut butters. These bars are so good I can’t even make them anymore unless I have someone to give the pan to. {{zero self control with these}}
