S’mores and Kit Kats come together in these bars for one great dessert mash-up!
Have y’all been camping before? My husband and I just took our kids for the first time this past August. And actually, it was MY first time, too. (Which is crazy considering my father is a nature photographer, and growing up our summers were always filled with road trips to the national parks. My idea of camping was staying in a log cabin!)
But friends, we had so much fun. Took us three days to wash off all the dirt, but worth it! Spending time near the water, seeing deer and lizards, and being unplugged from electronics was so therapeutic. And, of course, no camping trip would be complete without S’mores.
So, I know it’s Fall now. And it’s the rainy season. And ya, nobody’s going camping anymore. But who says S’mores have to be relegated to camping?
And since Halloween is around the corner, these bars are perfect for any left-over candy you might have!

Thank you so much y sweet sweet friend! It made me so happy to see this when I was in the hospital and brought a much-needed smile to my face. I’ll be sharing on my social media pages today. THANK YOU! xoxo- K
they sound yummy!
Hello, dear Amy! Thank you for the link of the lovely and sweet recipe. I’ll try to cook them as soon as possible (maybe this Sunday)… Photos look so tasty. Did you enjoy cooking them? And I answered the survey :)
Umm, can you say dangerously delicious? S’mores are one of the best summer snacks, but to put them in a BAR that I can make YEAR ROUND? Dangerous. Yet delicious.
So, I’m getting ready to make a pot of baked beans tomorrow (I’m planning to put a stupid amount of bourbon in them, because…booze), so how ’bout you pop on over, bring these bars, and then we can pretend we are having a summer cookout when really it’s October and wacky weather?
You’re after my heart, you know that right? Smores AND Kit Kats? Making for sure.
I know you love them. I dream about your cupcakes! What was I thinking when I said “left-over Halloween candy?’ Ya, maybe Gummy Bears. Like there would ever be left-over kit-kats. Riiiiight.
If I had my way, s’mores would be an every day kind of treat! Off to check these out!
You’re killing me!
HEE. I know. These have your name all over them. You and Haley…
