Woo Woo Cocktail

This Woo Woo Cocktail is a classic 3-ingredient drink straight from the 1970s. It’s made with vodka, peach schnapps, and cranberries for a fruity, slightly sweet cocktail that can be enjoyed on the rocks in seconds!

What’s old is new again, you guys. I’m bringing back the Woo Woo! This drink recipe first gained popularity in the 70s, but it’s sort of disappeared. Why, I don’t know. It’s like an elevated version of a classic cranberry vodka, with the addition of peach schnapps. The flavor is fruity and tart, with just the right amount of sweetness. If you’ve never had one, you’re missing out. So good!
Helpful Tips & Variations
- Use quality ingredients. With just 3 ingredients in the drink, it’s important to make sure they’re good ones! Top-shelf vodka like Grey Goose is not necessary (although recommended), but I wouldn’t make this cocktail with the cheapest bottle either.
- Make it sparkling. Add seltzer, club soda, or sparkling wine to the cocktail to cut the sweetness of the woo woo, or to make it more like a punch.
- Turn it into a shot. To make a woo woo shot, pour equal parts vodka, peach schnapps, and cranberry juice into a shot glass.
- Add some fruit. A squeeze of lime juice or some berries or orange slices muddled into the cocktail are a great addition.
- Try a different liquor. Experiment with flavored vodka or swap it out for white rum.

Can I Make This a Big Batch Cocktail?
Absolutely. It’s super easy to turn this woo woo cocktail into a big batch cocktail. Just multiply the ingredient amounts by the number of servings desired. When serving for a crowd, I also like to add some seltzer or ginger ale and some fruit to give it a party punch feel.
