When it comes to easy no-bake treats, chocolate bark is always a winner – it’s incredibly versatile, tastes great, and is so easy to make. Today we’re sharing some pretty Valentine’s Day chocolate bark showcasing red, pink, and white colors and studded with pretzel pieces and M&Ms.

Wedges of chocolate bark are perfect any time of year and definitely say I love you, don’t you think? This also makes a wonderful edible gift – try stacking pieces between some parchment paper and tying them with red twine or ribbon. So pretty!

Ingredients Needed

Chocolate bark couldn’t be easier to make, then break it up into whatever size pieces to suit your needs. For this chocolate bark recipe, all you need are 3 main ingredients and food coloring.

  • Vanilla candy melts
  • Pretzel sticks, broken into small pieces
  • Red, pink, and white Valentine’s colored M&Ms
  • Pink food dye
  • Red food dye

Recipe Variations

  • Replace the pretzels with chopped nuts, like almonds, or include both!
  • If you can find heart sprinkles, a tablespoon of those scattered over the top would be so cute.

How to Make Valentine’s Day Chocolate Bark

Here’s a summary of the simple steps needed to make this Valentine’s candy.

  1. Melt chocolate candy melts according to package directions until smooth and completely melted.
  2. Spoon a few small scoops of the melted chocolate into two separate small bowls; mix pink food dye into one, red food dye into the other. Transfer to two separate small Ziploc bags; snip off a small corner.
  3. Spread remaining melted white chocolate onto a lined baking sheet in a rectangular shape, 1/4-inch thick. Pipe both pink and red colored chocolates onto the white chocolate; then cut through with a dull knife in a swirling pattern to create a marble looking effect.
  4. Top with the pretzel pieces and M&Ms.
  5. Chill until set and hardened, then break into pieces and enjoy!

Store chocolate bark in an airtight container in a cool, dry place for up to 1 week, in the refrigerator for 2 weeks, or in the freezer for about 1 month.

Ingredients 

  • 30 ounces vanilla candy melts
  • pink food coloring
  • red food coloring
  • 3/4 cup thin salted pretzel sticks, , broken into small pieces
  • 1/2 cup red, pink, and white Valentine’s colored M&Ms

Instructions 

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Place white chocolate wafers in a medium glass microwavable bowl and melt according to package directions until completely smooth.
  • Spoon a few small scoops into two separate small bowls; mix pink food dye into one, red food dye into the other. Transfer to two separate small Ziploc bags; snip off a small corner.
  • Spread remaining melted white chocolate onto the lined baking sheet in a rectangular shape, 1/4-inch thick. Pipe both colored chocolates onto the white chocolate; then cut through with a knife to make a swirling pattern.
  • Sprinkle bark with the pretzel pieces, M&Ms, and heart sprinkles.
