Ingredients 

  • 2 boxes cheese Ritz Bits, (8.8 oz each)
  • ยพ cup butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ยฝ tsp onion powder
  • โ…” cup grated Parmesan
  • finely chopped parsley , for garnish

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 375ยฐF and line two 9×13 rimmed baking sheets with parchment paper (or one extra-large sheet pan).
  • If some Ritz Bits have separated, gently press them back into sandwiches so the cheese is tucked safely inside, so any exposed cheese doesn't burn. Pour crackers into a large mixing bowl.
  • In a medium spouted measuring cup or small bowl, whisk together the melted butter and seasonings. Pour over the crackers and toss to coat.
  • Sprinkle the parmesan over the top and toss to coat again.
  • Divide the buttered crackers evenly between the prepared baking sheets and spread in a single layer (itโ€™s fine if some overlap.)
  • Bake 7-9 minutes until golden brown.
  • Garnish with just a bit of fresh chopped parsley.
  • Allow to cool completely before eating. They will crisp up and get crunchy as they cool.

How to Make Garlic Bread Ritz Bits Step by Step

Gather the ingredients: Gather all the ingredients together. Preheat your oven to 375ยฐF and line two 9×13-inch rimmed baking sheets with parchment paper (or use one extra-large sheet pan).

Make the garlic butter: In a medium measuring cup, whisk together 3/4 cup melted butter, 1 tbsp garlic powder, 2 tsp Italian seasoning, and 1/2 tsp onion powder until combined.

Keep the Ritz Bitz Crackers together. Open up 2 boxes (8.8 ounces each) of cheese Ritz Bits. If some of the crackers have separated, gently press them back into sandwiches so the cheese is tucked safely inside.

Coat the ritz bits: Pour the cheese Ritz Bits into a large mixing bowl. Pour the seasoned butter over the crackers and toss until every piece is coated.

Add parmesan: Sprinkle 2/3 cup grated Parmesan over the crackers and toss again so the cheese sticks to the buttery coating.

Fill the baking sheet: Divide the crackers between the prepared baking sheets and spread them into an even layer. A little overlap is totally fine.

Bake the crackers: Bake for 7โ€“9 minutes, or until the crackers are lightly golden and fragrant.

How to Store Leftovers

If you need to keep them longer, refrigerate for up to one week, although the texture may soften slightly. To bring back some crunch, spread the crackers on a baking sheet and warm them in a 300ยฐF oven for about 3 to 4 minutes or air fry at 350ยฐF for a few minutes. Freezing is not recommended for this recipe because the butter coating can soften the crackers, so room-temperature storage works best.
