Walking Banana Pudding makes a fun, quick, and easy portable dessert that's perfect for summer. This no bake dessert is made with just 6 ingredients, featuring all the flavors of classic banana pudding.
Prep Time: 20 minutesmins
Total Time: 20 minutesmins
Servings: 12servings
Ingredients
1box(3.4 ounce) Instant banana cream pudding
2cupscold whole milk
12individual packages(1 ounce each) mini Nilla Wafers
1cupheavy whipping cream
3tablespoonspowdered sugar
2ripe bananas, thinly sliced
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, combine the instant pudding and milk. Whisk vigorously for 2 minutes until thickened, then place in the fridge for 5 minutes to set.
While the pudding chills, in another bowl combine the heavy whipping cream and powdered sugar. With an electric mixer, beat until stiff peaks have formed.
Using scissors, carefully cut the top across the seam of the mini Nilla wafer packs. Empty out the wafers into a bowl. Fold over the top opening of the bags to form a 1/2" collar (this will make the packet a little sturdier for eating out of.)
Put a few of the cookies back into the bottom of each Nilla wafer bag, then top with a spoonful of pudding, a spoonful of whipped cream, and a couple slices of bananas. Repeat those layers until full to the top (finishing with a couple Nilla wafers and banana slices for presentation, if desired.)(TIP! This is easier if you have a tray or baking dish with higher sides so you can stand them up while filling. It's also a great way to serve them to a group.)
Serve with some disposable plastic spoons for virtually no clean-up!
Notes
Switch up the pudding flavor. Vanilla or even chocolate pudding can be used instead of banana pudding if preferred.Make it even quicker! For a super quick shortcut, Snack Pack pudding can be used instead of boxed or homemade pudding and you can also use Cool Whip or Reddi Whip instead of homemade whipped cream.
