Notes
Use apple juice instead of cider. You can use apple juice instead of apple cider if it's not in season. It'll change the flavor of the cocktail but only slightly. Do NOT use apple cider vinegar! What if I don't have the gold luster? If you prefer, omit the edible gold luster for a simpler presentation. This alteration will not affect the taste of the cocktail.Make it kid-friendly. You can prepare a non-alcoholic version by replacing the caramel vodka with more apple cider and cranberry juice.Stir before serving. Be sure to stir it before serving to achieve the full shimmer effect. You may also want to serve it with little stirring sticks, as the dust will settle to the bottom.Make it for a crowd. To make a big batch for a crowd, see instructions in the article.
