Made with buttery-sugared toasted pretzels, crushed pineapple, and a cream cheese base, this Pineapple Pretzel Fluff is sweet, salty, and amazing! With just 10 minutes of prep, it makes the perfect sweet side dish or dessert for family gatherings and potlucks.
20ouncecan crushed pineapple(completely pressed and drained)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix pretzels, melted butter, and the granulated sugar; spread them onto the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. Bake 5 to 7 minutes until toasted. Cool completely.
In a large bowl with a handheld electric mixer, beat the cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Add in the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla; whip until stiff peaks form. With a spatula or wooden spoon, fold in the crushed pineapple and most of the cooled pretzels (reserving some for garnish); mix well until combined.
Transfer to a serving bowl and top with the reserved pretzel pieces (or serve portions in dessert cups and top with piped whipped cream, crushed pretzels, and a couple of pineapple pieces.)
Serve and enjoy!

Notes
Drain the pineapple completely. Be sure to thoroughly drain the pineapple and then press it dry. You want to remove as much moisture as possible, to prevent it from watering down the fluff.Add the pretzels just before serving. If you are making this in advance, consider waiting to add the pretzels as they will soften as they sit.Can I use fresh pineapple? Sure - it will take more effort as you'll need to dice it very small, but it will work!
