Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into triangles. Cut each triangle lengthwise into 3 long narrow triangles.
Place a sausage link on the wide end of each triangle; roll up to the opposite point. Transfer to the prepared baking sheet, seam side down, and repeat with the remaining dough and links, leaving a few inches in-between.
In a small bowl, beat together the egg and water. Brush dough with the egg wash and sprinkle with everything seasoning.
Bake until golden, 12-15 minutes. Let cool for a minute or so and enjoy with your dipping sauce of choice.
Notes
Use cut up hot dogs. Can't find cocktail sausage links? You can make these with hot dogs instead. Just cut them into 1.5" pieces.Add cheese. You can add a sprinkle of shredded cheese on top before baking or cut a slice of cheese into smaller pieces and roll it into the crescent roll with the sausage.Make it spicy. To kick things up a notch, add a jalapeno slice in with each little smokie.Add different seasoning. You can use butter instead of an egg wash and any seasoning of choice in place of the everything bagel seasoning.
