If your air fryer requires preheating, do that now at 375 degrees F for 5 minutes.
Cut the sweet potatoes into 1/4-1/2 inch wide sticks.
In a large bowl, add the cut sweet potatoes, olive oil, salt, and chipotle powder. Toss to coat.
Place the sweet potato fries into the air fryer basket (it’s okay if they are touching*)
Air fry for 10 minutes. Shake the basket to mix up the fries and air fry an additional 5 minutes.
Serve right away with garnish of parsley and your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
*If you really want your fries to get crispy, air fry in batches so the sweet potato wedges are in a single layer and don't overlap at all. Please refer to the full article for directions on Oven Baked Sweet Potato Fries. These fries were made and tested in a Phillips model Air Fryer with a basket and requires preheating. If you own a different model air fryer, I would suggest doing a test run with just a few and then adjust the time/temp, if necessary. Air fryers are all similar, but just like ovens, cooking times can vary.
