Ingredients
1cupsour cream
1tbspdried onion flakes
1tsponion powder
⅛tspgarlic powder
1tbspfinely chopped fresh chives
1tspBetter Than Bouillon beef pastenot a cube*
wavy potato chipsfor serving
carrot and celery sticksfor serving
Instructions
Place sour cream in a small bowl. Add dried onion flakes, onion powder, garlic powder, chives, and beef bouillon paste. Mix together very well until completely blended. Taste and adjust seasonings, if necessary.
It can be enjoyed right away, but ideally refrigerate for 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld and the dried onion to soften a bit.
Serve with potato chips and/or veggie sticks.

*A beef bouillon cube can be used in place of the paste, but it has a stronger, saltier flavor, so it’s not my preferred option. One crushed cube equals about 1¼ teaspoons, but I recommend starting with ¾ teaspoon, tasting, and adding more only if needed. Be sure to mix it very well so the dip stays smooth and not grainy.
