1cupcooked and crumbled Italian sausage(about 1/4 pound)
1/3cupfinely diced green bell pepper
1/4cupgrated Parmesan cheese
minced fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F and coat a 9-inch cast iron skillet with nonstick spray (or a 9-inch round oven-safe baking pan.)
On a lightly floured surface, roll 1 pound pizza dough into a 16x10-inch rectangle.
Brush dough with 1/2 cup marinara sauce, leaving a 1/2-inch border bare.
Sprinkle with a 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese and the red pepper flakes, followed by 1 cup chopped pepperoni, 1 cup cooked and crumbled Italian sausage, 1/3 cup finely diced green bell pepper, and 1/4 cup grated Parmesan.
Roll up jelly-roll style, starting with a long side; pinch seam to seal.
Cut into 8 even slices.
Place the pieces in the skillet cut side down. (Give the rolls a little room in the pan to expand.)
Bake 25 minutes; sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese.
Bake another 5-10 minutes until golden brown and dough is cooked through.
