Apple Pie Jello Shots
Made with apple whiskey and apple cider, these Apple Pie Jello Shots are topped with whipped cream and cinnamon for a fun twist on basic jello shots. Perfect for fall parties!
Servings: 18 jello shots
Ingredients
- 2 cups apple cider (not apple cider vinegar!)
- 2 envelopes (.25 ounces each) unflavored gelatin
- 1 & 1/2 cups apple whiskey , chilled
- whipped cream , for serving, optional
- cinnamon , for serving, optional
Instructions
- Place the plastic jello shot cups on a sheet pan without the lids on. Set aside.
- Add the apple cider to a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Sprinkle the gelatin over the top of the liquid and stir to completely dissolve.
- Remove the mixture from the heat and allow to cool for 15 minutes.
- Stir the chilled apple whiskey into the gelatin mixture.
- Pour the liquid into your little plastic cups, making sure not to overfill them.
- Transfer sheet pan of jello shots into the refrigerator and chill for at least 4 hours or until they have completely set.
- Put lids on cups and keep in the fridge until ready to serve.
- Garnish with some homemade whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon to dress them up, if desired.
