Apple Monster Mouths with Fruit Dip

Ingredients

For the Fruit Dip (optional)

  • 6 ounce container orange creme yogurt (such as Yoplait)
  • 1/2 cup marshmallow creme
  • 4 ounces cream cheese , softened at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • edible eyes

For the Apple Mouths

  • 1 large red delicious apple
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter (or almond butter)
  • mini marshmallows

Instructions

  • In a medium mixing bowl add the yogurt, marshmallow creme, softened cream cheese, and vanilla. With a handheld mixer, blend until thoroughly combined.
  • Cut apple into quarters, remove the core piece, then cut the quarters into smaller slices.
  • Spread about two teaspoons of peanut butter onto each slice of apple, then put a row of mini marshmallows across one apple slice.
  • Sandwich the slices together and press firmly until they adhere and they look like teeth.
  • Serve fruit dip with edible eyes and the apple mouths. Fun!
