Wendy's Frosty Copycat
With just 4 ingredients, you can make this Copycat Wendy's Frosty Recipe at home! Rich, thick, and chocolatey, all without needing an ice cream machine!
Servings: 8 (about 2 cups per serving)
Ingredients
- 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
- 8 ounce container Cool Whip (NOT thawed)
- 1/2 gallon 1% chocolate milk (8 cups, chilled)
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Combine the ingredients into a blender. Pulse just until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container, cover tightly, and place into the freezer.
- Freeze for about 3 to 4 hours, stirring every 45 minutes - this will create the perfect texture and thickness of a Wendy's Frosty (If you would like a thicker frosty, freeze for longer.)
- Spoon into glasses and serve.
Notes
Work in two batches. You'll likely need to make this in two batches, since most blenders only hold about 8 cups.
Divide into multiple freezer containers. If you don’t have a freezer-safe container large enough to hold all of the Frosty mixture, divide it up into 2 or 3 smaller batches to put in the freezer. Keep in mind, if you freeze the frosty mixture in smaller batches the freeze time will be slightly shorter. Make sure you don’t fill the container to the very top, the mixture will expand a bit as it freezes.
