Sugar Cookie Chocolate Bark is a super quick and easy no-bake candy made with just 5 ingredients. The ultimate sweet bite, perfect for an after dinner treat, holiday cookie tray, or teacher’s gift!
Line an 8 & 1/2 x 11 rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
Melt one bag of the candy melts according to package directions. With a spatula, spread the melted chocolate in an even layer onto the prepared baking sheet. Place in refrigerator for 10 minutes until hardened.
With a handheld mixer, cream together the sugar cookie mix, butter, milk, and salt until thoroughly combined. Place on top of the chilled white chocolate and press to spread almost to the edge. Place back in the fridge for another 10 minutes.
Melt the second bag of candy melts in the same manner as the first. Spread over the cookie dough and immediately cover with sprinkles. Chill for another 10 minutes until completely set.
Break into small pieces and serve.
Notes
Avoid chocolate chips. Stick with candy melts for this recipe. Candiquik, almond bark, or Wilton candy melts all work great. White chocolate chips can be too finicky when trying to melt them and they tend to soften too much at room temperature.Try it with brown chocolate candy melts. If you're not a fan of white chocolate, you can use any other flavor candy melts.Have fun with the toppings. Swap the sprinkles with crushed nuts or candy canes at holiday time.
