Hot dogs
Instructions
Slowly push a skewer (metal or wood) through the center, lengthwise, of the hot dog as best you can. Try to keep it straight. (Hot dogs are pretty forgiving, so if you mess up, just gently pull it out and try again.)
Once you have them skewered, place it on a cutting board. With a knife, begin making angled cuts (about 1 inch apart) all the way down to the skewer, turning the hot dog away from you, as you go.
Gently remove the skewer and grill those dogs up! I set them over medium heat for about 5 minutes, turning them 2-3 times to get an even cook. Delicious!
Notes
You can use the same skewer to cut all of the dogs, if you’d prefer.
