Ingredients
For the Batter
1poundbutter
1poundbrown sugar
1poundpowdered sugar
1quartvanilla ice cream(softened)
1tablespoonapple pie spice
For Each Drink
2tablespoonsbatter
2ouncesgold rum(or spiced rum)
4ouncesboiling apple cider(NOT apple cider vinegar)
whipped cream(for serving)
ground cinnamon and cinnamon stick(for garnish)
Instructions
Make the batter: Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Blend in brown sugar and powdered sugar. Remove from heat, and whisk in the ice cream and apple pie spice.Pour mixture into a freezer-safe plastic container, seal, and freeze until solid.
To make the drink: In a 6 ounce glass mug, measure 2 tablespoons Hot Buttered Rum Batter and 2 ounces of rum, then fill cup with hot apple cider. Stir to combine.
