Homemade Ranch Seasoning

This Homemade Ranch Seasoning is used in place of packet ranch seasoning mix, without MSG or preservatives. Whip up a batch in minutes and use it to make ranch dressing, ranch dip, and so many other things!

Ingredients

1/2 cup dry buttermilk powder
2 tablespoons dried parsley
1 tablespoon onion powder
2 teaspoons dried onion flakes
2 teaspoons dried chives
1 3/4 teaspoons garlic powder
1 1/4 teaspoons dried dill weed
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

In a medium bowl, whisk all ingredients to combine. (Alternatively, you can place all the ingredients in a jar, fasten the lid and shake it all up.) If you want a finer texture, feel free to place all the ingredients in a coffee grinder and blitz a few times.
Transfer the mixture to an airtight container.
To replace 1 store-bought ranch dressing mix packet, use 2 tablespoons of this ranch seasoning mix in its place. (For several other uses, please refer to the full article.)
Because of the buttermilk powder, it needs to be stored in the refrigerator. It will keep up to 2 months.
