Ingredients
1 1/2cupsketchup(preferably without high-fructose corn syrup)
1/3cupbrown sugar
1/4cupapple cider vinegar
2tablespoonsWorcestershire
2tablespoonsmolasses
2teaspoonssmoked paprika
1teaspoondry mustard powder
1/2teaspoongarlic powder
1/2teaspoononion powder
1/2teaspoonkosher salt
1/4teaspoonground black pepper
A few dashes hot sauce, or more to taste
Instructions
Whisk all ingredients together in a medium saucepan.
Bring to a bubble over medium heat, then reduce heat to low.
Continue to simmer for about 10-12 minutes or until thickened.
Remove from heat and allow to cool. (The sauce will thicken slightly as it cools.)
Use the sauce immediately, or store for later.
