Ingredients
1ham bone(see note below)
4cupsdiced ham
2cans(15 ounces each) white cannellini beansdrained and rinsed
1 & 1/2 cupsdiced carrots
1cupdiced celery
1medium diced onion
2bay leaves
1teaspoonItalian seasoning
1teaspoonpepper
1/2teaspoonsalt
pinch of crushed red pepper flakes
4cupsvegetable broth
Instructions
Combine all the ingredients into a 6 quart slow cooker.
Set the slow cooker to low for 6-8 hours.
Remove the ham bone and bay leaves from the soup.
Serve with your favorite crusty bread.
