32ounceswhite/vanilla candy coating(see note)

⅓cuptoffee bits

Instructions
Coat a 6-quart crockpot with nonstick cooking spray (or use a liner.)
Add to the crockpot in layers: the peanuts, candy coating, chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, and toffee bits. DO NOT STIR.
Cover with the lid and cook on low for 1 hour.
After an hour, then stir the mixture until the peanuts are completely coated with the melted chocolate. Continue to cook on low, stirring every 15 to 20 minutes for an additional hour. Turn off the crockpot.
Line a couple large cookie sheets with parchment paper. Using a tablespoon-sized cookie scoop (or spoon), drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto the parchment paper, leaving space in-between. Sprinkle with festive sprinkles and sea salt, if using, before the chocolate hardens.
If you have room in your fridge, chill for about 1 hour until hardened. If not, just let stand on the counter until set, which is perfectly fine, it will just take longer.

Notes
Use different nuts. This recipe works with any nut. Feel free to swap the peanuts with walnuts, pecans, almonds, or a combination!Candy melts, melting wafers, or almond bark is essential. You can use either Wilton candy melts, Ghirardelli melting wafers, or CANDIQUIK Almond bark (broken into pieces), but do not replace it with regular chocolate chips. The candy melts are essential for creating the perfect texture and also ensures the chocolate sets and hardens to create the candy.
