Ingredients
Mike and Ike’s Sour Apple or Green Fruit flavor
almond M&Ms
vanilla candy melts
green food gel
Instructions
Slice off the top portion of the Mike and Ike’s candy; adhere the sticky part to the wider top part of an M&M, forming the lights. Set aside.
In a medium microwave safe bowl, melt the candy melts according to package directions until smooth. Spoon a few small scoops into a small bowl; mix in the green food gel. Transfer the green colored chocolate to a small Ziploc bag; snip off a small corner.
Spread the remaining melted white chocolate onto a baking sheet in a rectangular shape. Place the M&M lights on the melted chocolate; pipe the green chocolate in a line, connecting the lights.
Place in the refrigerator for 20 or so minutes to set. Break into pieces and enjoy!
Let set completely (about 12 hours), break into pieces and enjoy!
Notes
Resist the urge to handle the bark or break it into pieces until it’s fully hardened (about 12 hours.)
Once the chocolate is set completely and broke into pieces, store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, ideally less than 65ºF.
Properly tempered chocolate will keep for several weeks and doesn't need to be refrigerated, or refrigerate for longer.
