3tablespoonscanned chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
1& 1/2 teaspoons coarse salt
1/2teaspoonblack pepper
1/4teaspoondried oregano
1/4cupwater
1/2cupvegetable oil
Instructions
To a blender, add all the ingredients in the order listed except the vegetable oil. Pulse to thoroughly combine.
With the blender still running, slowly pour in the vegetable oil, creating an emulsion until it’s thick.
Taste and adjust seasoning or honey, if preferred, to amp up or tone down the heat.
Use as desired or store for later.

Got a small blender? If you have one, a smaller blender, like a mini Ninja or a Bullet blender is perfect to make this dressing.Try a different oil. If you're not a big vegetable oil person, you can use olive oil or avocado oil here instead, but keep in mind it will change the flavor and no longer be a true copycat recipe.Storage. Keep any leftover dressing stored in a glass jar, fastened with the lid, in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. It’s normal for the oil and vinegar to separate during storage – just shake the jar to incorporate everything again.
