Perfect Pound Cake

This Pound Cake recipe is deliciously rich, dense, moist, and so easy to make! Great with a cup of coffee, or a simple dessert for brunch, luncheons, or any occasion.

Prepare Loaf Pan
Butter and flour a 9×5 loaf pan (getting butter in all the grooves & discard excess flour.)
Cream together the butter, cream cheese, and sugar until combined.
Add the sour cream, both extracts, and eggs one at a time. Beat until combined.
Add in Dry Ingredients
Add in the cake flour, baking powder, and salt.
Pour Batter into Pan
Pour batter evenly into the prepared pan. Bang the pan on the counter once or twice to bring up any air bubbles.
Bake for approximately 65-75 minutes. (Loosely tent with foil halfway through to ensure the surface does not over-brown.)
Remove cake from the oven and allow to cool for 1 hour inside the pan. Invert from pan, transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
The butter, cream cheese, sour cream, and eggs should all be room temperature before starting.
