Homemade Teriyaki Sauce

This Homemade Teriyaki Sauce is a must if you love Asian cuisine. Use it in stir fry, as a marinade, or a dipping sauce. You’ll never buy it from the store again!

Ingredients

Water

Cornstarch

Low-Sodium Soy Sauce

Brown Sugar

Honey

Mirin

Sesame Oil

Ginger & Garlic

NOTE!

Mirin is a sweet Japanese rice wine, similar to sake, but with less alcohol and more sugar. A good substitute for Mirin would be sherry mixed with a bit of granulated sugar.

In a bowl, mix water and cornstarch until smooth.

Combine ingredients
