Italians. They know the secret.
Only a few simple ingredients is really all you need. None of this “pile it on so thick, with tons of sauce, you don’t even know what you’re eating anymore” craziness. They must cringe when they see how we do pizza over here.
This neat little appetizer isn’t anything revolutionary. Just something that I make on occasion, with ingredients and flavors that are meant to be married. Like the Captain & Tennille, Ken & Barbie, Donny & Marie – oh wait…scratch that last one.
Anyway, you catch my drift.
If you’re looking for something to make on Superbowl Sunday other than my Pretzel Rings (or anything resembling food that sticks to your teeth), then I highly recommend these.
They are super easy to assemble and super tasty. Just go ask any Italian.
