Some people create blogs to vent, to exercise their writing capabilities, or to simply let others know where they are. And some people just love to write about what they enjoy and hope they can impart some knowledge onto others.
This blog was really inspired by all those parents that have crossed my path, either in classes or play groups (where I felt it absolutely necessary to bring something homemade to eat), and who said to me, “this is divine, please send me the recipe.”
I am a mother of two small children and time is limited, so I’m always looking for recipes that are delicious, but don’t keep me in the kitchen for hours on end. I live in the real world – with a house, a husband, two small kids, and dogs, all craving attention. But that doesn’t change my love and desire for great food. So, to all those fatigued parents (and non-parents!) out there who work hard and that appreciate good eats, but lack the time and vigor to experiment – this is for you.
So, here I am…blogging. Writing about something I love and sending out another food blog into the universe. But a true food lover can’t ever get enough of a good thing, right? I know my audience is out there!
It’s about time, Amy! Love it.
Amy, you’re our hero!
Thanks for sharing your delish recipes with the rest of us, Amy. This site is easier and healthier than Martha’s. A special thanks for the pescatarian dishes!
I absolutely agree – great text to go with the pictures! But now I’m hungry. :-(
Job well done Amy! Your entire idea (brand) as a whole looks fantastic. Thanks for more options when I just cannot think of a thing to cook, I’ll pass a few recipes on when you want them!
