The best simple and quick homemade soups to warm the stomach and soul!
So. Um. In case you haven’t heard, it’s been raining here in California.
I know. So what, right? It snows in the East and it’s warm in the West, and CA is getting rain. Blah blah. Boo hoo.
Water falling from the sky is a rare here, though, which is why we’re in such a bad drought. But it’s happening. And it’s…A LOT. Like flooding.
I keep looking outside to make sure our pool and yard are draining properly. And I’ve also been wearing sweatpants for the last four days. I’m also cursing myself for not buying the kids rain boots when I had the chance.
On the upside, it’s a great excuse to make soup every night. Not that anyone really needs an excuse. But you know, they just go together.
I’ve made every single one of these this past week. Easy, quick, delicious, and comforting. They’re some of my favs!
