We road the Reduction high all last week. What an absolute gas to have our video picked up by The Daily What, and then Comedy Central’s Tosh.O. I mean…pinch me. The YouTube numbers stand at over 33,000 and continue to climb, although have slowed down considerably. We enjoyed our 15 minutes.
Enormous thank you to everyone who watched it, were entertained by it, and continue to share it.
The funny thing, to me anyway, was that 17 people asked me what kind of smoothie I was making in the video. Oh my goodness, how much do I love my readers? Paying attention to such things! A few of them pointing out that Spring is just around the corner. While that’s true, I actually make smoothies every week, all year long.
This is just one of my favorites.
Makes 2 smoothies (about 4 cups)
Prep time: 5 minutes
Total time: 5 minutes
• 1 (14 ounce) container raspberry sorbet (such as Haagen Dazs)
• 1 (6 ounce) container plain yogurt
• 1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
• 1/2 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
• 1/2 cup regular or low-fat milk
Place all ingredients in a blender, starting with the milk. Blend on low to chop, finishing on high to completely blend. Pour evenly into two tumbler glasses and enjoy!
